Walkerdance Ballet Theatre has performed “The Nutcracker' for over thirty years in Alamance County. We provide exposure to conservatory level dance instruction and professional dance performance for those dedicated students of classical ballet.
These efforts have provided the Alamance County community with a rich tradition of the arts through dance and the enjoyment of watching many of our talented young women and men grow through the art of dance.
Walkerdance has performed the second act of “The Nutcracker” for all second grade students in the Alamance-Burlington School System for many years. In addition we work with local charities and businesses throughout the Holiday Season.
MAY GARDEN
In May our annual “Garden Performance” happens in Downtown Burlington behind the train station depot.

Each of our students performs a piece on our outside stage with floral scenery as the background.
NC DANCE FESTIVAL
Every February, Walkerdance travels to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for a dance festival. This festival weekend provides our students access to world wide dance professionals and faculty members of the school.
These students participate in a wide range of dance classes and attend the Winter Dance Concert performance with choreography from several dance companies throughout the United States.
